Guinness J. Costello
Attorney
Guinness J. Costello is a thoughtful and effective advocate who is proud
to exclusively represent plaintiffs, fiercely pursuing justice on behalf
of all his clients.
After receiving his Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School
of Law in 2019, Guinness began his career representing victims of utility
caused fires throughout California. From there, Guinness went on to a
nationally renowned victim’s advocacy law firm where he exclusively
represented survivors of sexual abuse for several years. In this capacity,
Guinness was appointed plaintiff’s liaison counsel in the
LA Foster Cases, a grouping of more than 200 cases against the County of Los Angeles,
among other defendants, stemming from abuse the Plaintiffs had suffered
as foster youths. Over the past few years, Guinness has expanded his practice
to include representing injured students in cases against the school districts
who harm them. Guinness considers it his calling to represent everyday
people against the large organizations that cause them harm.
Guinness is admitted to practice in the State of California, and several
federal courts including the United States District Courts for the Southern,
Central, Eastern and Northern Districts of California, the United States
District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and the U.S. Court
of Appeals, Ninth Circuit.
