Guinness J. Costello
Attorney
Guinness J. Costello is a thoughtful and effective advocate who takes pride in exclusively representing plaintiffs, fiercely pursuing justice on behalf of all his clients. After graduating from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2019, Guinness embarked on a career representing victims of utility-caused fires across California. Subsequently, he joined a nationally renowned victim’s advocacy law firm, where he exclusively represented survivors of sexual abuse for several years. During this period, Guinness was appointed as a plaintiff’s liaison counsel in the landmark LA Foster Cases, comprising over 200 cases against the County of Los Angeles and other defendants, arising from the abuse the plaintiffs had endured as foster youths. In recent years, Guinness has broadened his practice to encompass representation of injured students in cases against the school districts that have caused harm. He believes it is his calling to stand up for ordinary individuals against the formidable Goliath-like organizations that inflict harm upon them. Guinness is admitted to practice law in the State of California and is licensed to practice in several federal courts, including the United States District Courts for the Southern, Central, Eastern, and Northern Districts of California, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit.
